The Sponge Mobile is to be hung above a shower. The mobile's sponges would absorb the steam, gain weight, and since they are hung with an elastic material, would come down around you during your shower, giving a visual representation of the amount of time spent showering. By retaining steam, the mobile is an expression of the preciousness of water.
