The Shell is designed to decrease public disturbances produced by cell-phone usage. A user receiving or intending to make a call would step into the booth. The user may sit or stand in the polyurethane translucent shell, which protects the individual from external noises as well as isolating the conversation inside. The Shell could be placed in several internal and external public spaces such as restaurants, libraries, malls, street corners, metros, etc. The booth offers advantages for both parties: for the non-user, the booth decreases disturbances created by cell-phone users and for the users it provides protection from noise and weather in a comfortable setting.
